Pearls Misbehaving

There’s no written rule that pearls have to match. And if there is, rules are made to be broken.

So I broke one.

Peacock, coin, keshi, round, baroque, flat-bottom and button pearls. Big ones. Little ones. Odd ones. I put them all together.

Then I grab a handful. Whatever order they land in, that's the order they get strung.

No moving things around. No putting the big pearl back because it landed in the “wrong” spot. No making everyone play nicely.

And somehow, they do.

Each piece is one of a kind. You choose the silk colour and length. The pearl mix you see is the pearl mix you get.

A little unexpected. A little unruly.

Much more fun.
